3 years of nude 35mm film portraits.

Under The Skin is a series about rawness and vulnerability. As a male photographer a lot of the nude photography I encountered was very sexualized representations of women. So I decided to challenge myself, to show beauty beneath the surface. Stripped down, raw, real, and honest. Vulnerability to me is something everyone can identify and connect with. It transcends space and time or any other boundaries.

My work is about transformation, connection and perspectives. While using light and organic manipulation to capture the emotion and essence of a person. My aim is to connect with the observer while mind fucking them. Forgetting time and place. Pure immersion of that moment. I believe when we are lost within “The Space Between” The lines of reality disappear, and that’s where raw, true vulnerability exists.
